We proudly support traditional, non-traditional, poly, LGBTQIA, married or unmarried relationships. Just as your relationship is special and unique, so too will be your counseling experience!

Groups and Workshops
This service is a favorite for many! For individuals new to therapy, looking to dig deeper into their counseling, or persons looking to expand connections, therapy in a group setting is a perfect fit.

Different groups may be:
-
Bibliotherapy utilizing books, or other forms of literature, alongside additional therapeutic modalities, to support mental health.
-
Psychoeducation designed in a structured format to provide information, education on a specific topic, and skill-building.
-
Support connecting with peers with similar experiences, aids to normalize and validate participants.

Groups are maintained through a pre-registration. This allows a more intimate setting, as it's a closed group and all participants begin and end the process together. This sets the stage to create bonding, support, and mutual respect during the sharing process.

Fees vary, dictated by the reading materials and length of the workshop. Stay tuned for our next upcoming sessions!
Clinical Supervision
Similar to the therapeutic relationship, the supervisory relationship is built on a mutual respect, trust, and openness. The process involves honing clinical and professional skills, knowledge, and attitudes, enhancing competency, and developing your clinical identity.

Contact us directly to inquire regarding availability for both individual or group supervision. This applies for those on the track towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

Check with the Virginia State Board to obtain the requirements necessary for clinical supervision.
